উদ্ঘাটনের আদেশ পালন না করাঅনানুষ্ঠানিক অনুবাদ
Where any party fails to comply with any order to answer interrogatories, or for discovery or inspection of documents, he shall, if a plaintiff, be liable to have his suit dismissed for want of prosecution, and, if a defendant, to have his defence, if any, struck out, and to be placed in the same position as if he had not defended, and the party interrogating or seeking discovery or inspection may apply to the Court for an order to that effect, and an order may be made accordingly.

যেক্ষেত্রে কোনো পক্ষ লিখিত প্রশ্নমালার জবাব দেওয়ার, অথবা দলিল উদ্ঘাটন বা পরিদর্শনের কোনো আদেশ পালন করতে ব্যর্থ হন, সেক্ষেত্রে তিনি বাদী হলে তদবিরের অভাবে তাঁর মোকদ্দমা খারিজ হওয়ার, এবং বিবাদী হলে তাঁর আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থন (যদি থাকে) বাদ দেওয়ার ও তিনি আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থন না করলে যে অবস্থানে থাকতেন সেই একই অবস্থানে তাঁকে রাখার দায়ের অধীন হবেন, এবং প্রশ্নকারী পক্ষ বা উদ্ঘাটন বা পরিদর্শনপ্রার্থী পক্ষ সেই মর্মে আদেশের জন্য আদালতে দরখাস্ত করতে পারবেন, এবং সেই অনুযায়ী আদেশ দেওয়া যাবে।
