প্রধানমন্ত্রী এবং অন্যান্য মন্ত্রী, প্রতি-মন্ত্রী ও উপমন্ত্রী

২। ⁴[প্রধানমন্ত্রী] ⁵[* * *] এবং অন্যান্য মন্ত্রী, প্রতি-মন্ত্রী ও উপমন্ত্রী।–রাষ্ট্রপতি কর্তৃক নিম্নলিখিত ফরমে শপথ (বা ঘোষণা)-পাঠ পরিচালিত হইবে:

(ক) পদের শপথ (বা ঘোষণা):

"আমি, ........................................................................................, সশ্রদ্ধচিত্তে শপথ (বা দৃঢ়ভাবে ঘোষণা) করিতেছি যে, আমি আইন-অনুযায়ী সরকারের প্রধানমন্ত্রী (কিংবা ক্ষেত্রমত মন্ত্রী, প্রতি-মন্ত্রী, বা উপমন্ত্রী)-পদের কর্তব্য বিশ্বস্ততার সহিত পালন করিব ;

আমি বাংলাদেশের প্রতি অকৃত্রিম বিশ্বাস ও আনুগত্য পোষণ করিব ;

আমি সংবিধানের রক্ষণ, সমর্থন ও নিরাপত্তাবিধান করিব ;

এবং আমি ভীতি বা অনুগ্রহ, অনুরাগ বা বিরাগের বশবর্তী না হইয়া সকলের প্রতি আইন-অনুযায়ী যথাবিহীত আচরণ করিব।"

(খ) গোপনতার শপথ (বা ঘোষণা):

"আমি, ................................................................, সশ্রদ্ধচিত্তে শপথ (বা দৃঢ়ভাবে ঘোষণা) করিতেছি যে, সরকারের প্রধানমন্ত্রী (কিংবা ক্ষেত্রমত মন্ত্রী, প্রতি-মন্ত্রী, বা উপমন্ত্রী)-রূপে যে সকল বিষয় আমার বিবেচনার জন্য আনীত হইবে বা যে সকল বিষয় আমি অবগত হইব, তাহা প্রধানমন্ত্রী (কিংবা ক্ষেত্রমত মন্ত্রী, প্রতি-মন্ত্রী, বা উপমন্ত্রী)-রূপে যথাযথভাবে আমার কর্তব্য পালনের প্রয়োজন ব্যতীত প্রত্যক্ষ বা পরোক্ষভাবে কোন ব্যক্তিকে জ্ঞাপন করিব না বা কোন ব্যক্তির নিকট প্রকাশ করিব না।"

⁴ সংবিধান (পঞ্চদশ সংশোধন) আইন, ২০১১ (২০১১ সনের ১৪ নং আইন)-এর ৫৩(গ) ধারাবলে "প্রধানমন্ত্রী" শব্দটির পরিবর্তে প্রতিস্থাপিত।

⁵ সংবিধান (দ্বাদশ সংশোধন) আইন, ১৯৯১ (১৯৯১ সনের ২৮ নং আইন)-এর ২৪ (খ) ধারাবলে ",উপ-প্রধানমন্ত্রী" কমা ও শব্দটি বিলুপ্ত।

¹ সংবিধান (পঞ্চদশ সংশোধন) আইন, ২০১১ (২০১১ সনের ১৪ নং আইন)-এর ৫৩(খ) ধারাবলে (২ক) ফরম বিলুপ্ত।

2. The ⁴[Prime Minister] ⁵[* * *] and other Ministers, Ministers of State and Deputy Ministers].– Oaths (or affirmations) in the following forms shall be administered by the President –

(a) Oath (or affirmation) of office :

“I, .............................................., do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of Prime Minister (or as the case may be) according to law :

That I will bear true faith and allegiance to Bangladesh :

That I will preserve, protect and defend the Constitution :

And that I will do right to all manner of people according to law, without fear or favour, affection or ill-will.”

(b) Oath (or affirmation) of secrecy :

“I, ............................................, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will not directly or indirectly communicate or reveal to any person any matter which shall be brought under my consideration or shall become known to me as Prime Minister (or as the case may be) except as may be required for the due discharge of my duty as Prime Minister (or as the case may be).”
