সমনকৃত ব্যক্তিকে পাওয়া না গেলে জারিঅনানুষ্ঠানিক অনুবাদ
Where the person summoned cannot by the exercise of due diligence be found, the summons may be served by leaving one of the duplicates for him with some adult ⁸⁴[∗∗∗] member of his family, and the person with whom the summons is so left shall, if so required by the serving officer, sign a receipt therefore on the back of the other duplicate.
⁸⁴ The word “male” was omitted by section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Act, 2026 (Act No. XI of 2026) (With effect from 10th August 2025).

⁸⁴ “পুরুষ” শব্দটি ফৌজদারি কার্যবিধি (সংশোধন) আইন, ২০২৬ (২০২৬ সনের ১১ নং আইন)-এর ধারা ৯ দ্বারা বিলুপ্ত (১০ আগস্ট, ২০২৫ তারিখ থেকে কার্যকর)।
