আরজি নাকচঅনানুষ্ঠানিক অনুবাদ
The plaint shall be rejected in the following cases:—
(a) where it does not disclose a cause of action:
(b) where the relief claimed is undervalued, and the plaintiff, on being required by the Court to correct the valuation within a time to be fixed by the Court, fails to do so:
(c) where the relief claimed is properly valued, but the plaint is written upon paper insufficiently stamped, and the plaintiff, on being required by the Court to supply the requisite stamp-paper within a time to be fixed by the Court, fails to do so:
(d) where the suit appears from the statement in the plaint to be barred by any law¹[:
Provided that the time fixed by the Court for the correction of the valuation or supplying of the requisite stamp-paper shall not exceed twenty-one days.]
¹ A colon (;) was substituted, for the full-stop (.) and thereafter the proviso was added by section 5 of the Code of Civil Procedure (Amendment) Ordinance, 1983 (Ordinance No. XLVIII of 1983).

নিম্নবর্ণিত ক্ষেত্রে আরজি নাকচ করতে হবে:—
(ক) যেক্ষেত্রে আরজিতে নালিশের কোনো কারণ প্রকাশ পায় না:
(খ) যেক্ষেত্রে দাবিকৃত প্রতিকারের মূল্যমান কম নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে, এবং আদালত কর্তৃক ধার্য সময়ের মধ্যে মূল্যমান নির্ধারণ সংশোধন করার জন্য আদালত কর্তৃক আদিষ্ট হয়েও বাদী তা করতে ব্যর্থ হন:
(গ) যেক্ষেত্রে দাবিকৃত প্রতিকারের মূল্যমান যথাযথভাবে নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে, কিন্তু আরজি অপর্যাপ্ত স্ট্যাম্পযুক্ত কাগজে লেখা হয়েছে, এবং আদালত কর্তৃক ধার্য সময়ের মধ্যে প্রয়োজনীয় স্ট্যাম্প-কাগজ সরবরাহ করার জন্য আদালত কর্তৃক আদিষ্ট হয়েও বাদী তা করতে ব্যর্থ হন:
(ঘ) যেক্ষেত্রে আরজির বিবৃতি থেকে প্রতীয়মান হয় যে, মোকদ্দমাটি কোনো আইন দ্বারা বারিত¹[:
তবে শর্ত থাকে যে, মূল্যমান নির্ধারণ সংশোধন বা প্রয়োজনীয় স্ট্যাম্প-কাগজ সরবরাহের জন্য আদালত কর্তৃক ধার্য সময় একুশ দিনের বেশি হবে না।]
