বিদেশি চুক্তি-সংক্রান্ত মোকদ্দমাঅনানুষ্ঠানিক অনুবাদ
(1) Suits instituted in Bangladesh on contracts entered into in a foreign country are subject to the rules of limitation contained in this Act.
(2) No foreign rule of limitation shall be a defence to a suit instituted in Bangladesh on a contract entered into in a foreign country, unless the rule has extinguished the contract and the parties were domiciled in such country during the period prescribed by such rule.

(১) বিদেশে সম্পাদিত চুক্তির ভিত্তিতে বাংলাদেশে দায়ের করা মোকদ্দমা এই আইনে অন্তর্ভুক্ত তামাদির বিধির অধীন।
(২) বিদেশে সম্পাদিত কোনো চুক্তির ভিত্তিতে বাংলাদেশে দায়ের করা মোকদ্দমায় তামাদি-সংক্রান্ত কোনো বিদেশি বিধি আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থন হিসেবে গণ্য হবে না, যদি না ওই বিধি চুক্তিটি লোপ করে থাকে এবং ওই বিধি দ্বারা নির্ধারিত মেয়াদকালে পক্ষগণ ওই দেশে ডমিসাইলধারী ছিলেন।
