ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট কর্তৃক বা তাঁর উপস্থিতিতে গ্রেফতারঅনানুষ্ঠানিক অনুবাদ
Any Magistrate ⁸⁰[whether Executive or Judicial] may at any time arrest or direct the arrest, in his presence, within the local limits of his jurisdiction, of any person for whose arrest he is competent at the time and in the circumstances to issue a warrant.
⁸⁰ The words “whether Executive or Judicial” after the word “Magistrate” were inserted by section 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Act, 2009 (Act No. XXXII of 2009) (with effect from 1st November, 2007).

⁸⁰ “ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট” শব্দের পর “নির্বাহী হোন বা জুডিশিয়াল” শব্দগুলো ফৌজদারি কার্যবিধি (সংশোধন) আইন, ২০০৯ (২০০৯ সনের ৩২ নং আইন)-এর ধারা ২৪ দ্বারা সন্নিবেশিত (১ নভেম্বর, ২০০৭ তারিখ থেকে কার্যকর)।
