দণ্ডবিধির অধীন অপরাধের বিচারঅনানুষ্ঠানিক অনুবাদ
(1) All offences under the Penal Code shall be investigated, inquired into, tried, and otherwise dealt with according to the provisions hereinafter contained.
Trial of offences against other laws
(2) All offences under any other law shall be investigated, inquired into, tried, and otherwise dealt with according to the same provisions, but subject to any enactment for the time being in force regulating the manner or place of investigating, inquiring into, trying or otherwise dealing with such offences.

(১) দণ্ডবিধির অধীন সকল অপরাধের তদন্ত, অনুসন্ধান ও বিচার এবং অন্যভাবে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ অতঃপর বর্ণিত বিধানাবলি অনুযায়ী করতে হবে।
অন্যান্য আইনের বিরুদ্ধে অপরাধের বিচার
(২) অন্য কোনো আইনের অধীন সকল অপরাধের তদন্ত, অনুসন্ধান ও বিচার এবং অন্যভাবে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ একই বিধানাবলি অনুযায়ী করতে হবে, তবে অনুরূপ অপরাধের তদন্ত, অনুসন্ধান, বিচার বা অন্যভাবে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের পদ্ধতি বা স্থান নিয়ন্ত্রণকারী আপাতত বলবৎ কোনো বিধিবদ্ধ আইন সাপেক্ষে।
